As the summer progresses it is difficult to recall all the wonderful areas in the United Kingdom that are worth visiting more than once. There are so many destinations that are perfectly suited to the weekend or week traveller. We spent a lot of time in the office and we have decided that Lake District Cottages offer the widest range of outdoor days out for the reasonably and less active families that visit.
Why would I think that The Lake District is one of the places to visit after our deliberations? It’s easy really: with the superb scenery, most of which can be walked or climbed it provides such a huge range of opportunities.
